GOLDEN VALLEY PRIDE FESTIVALThe 4th annual Golden Valley Pride Festival, Sunday, June 9, 2019, is a celebration of Golden Valley LGBTQ individuals, families and friends. The event is planned and run buy a group of volunteer Golden Valley residents. All are welcome The festival has activities for the whole family, including bouncy houses, community booths, games, music, food trucks and a beer and wine garden. GOLDEN VALLEY SUNDAY FARMERS MARKETThe 2019 Golden Valley Sunday Farmers Market starts June 16 and runs through October 6. It is located at 7800 Golden Valley Road (under the Water Tower.)
NEW HOPE DUK DUK DAZEEnjoy the many activities of Duk Duk Daze, New Hope's Community Festival at Northwood Park, 38th and Boone, July 12-14. Fireworks Friday and Saturday nights. No pets or bikes are allowed at Northwood Park during this event. Hosted by New Hope Lions and the City of New Hope. Duk Info line: 763-531-5129. Guests ages 12 and over will pay a $5 entry fee after 4:00 P.M. on Friday and Saturday. NATIONAL NIGHT OUT/NIGHT TO UNITEPeople around the state will gather for neighborhood block parties to promote neighborhood safety and community. Contact your city offices to have your neighborhood participate. I host my neighborhood every year and we have a wonderful time!
